Just one look at the Ineos Granadier will leave no mistake about where it’s intentions lie; No compromise, hardcore four wheel driving action. Rugged and utilitarian in appearance, yet with subtle tech advancements and engineering refinement where it counts, Grenadier balances the two perfectly. It’s bare bones four wheel driving reimagined, and it’s looking to get down and dirty!
With an endless features list such as permanent four-wheel drive, two-speed transfer case, a total of three locking differentials - centre, front and rear, Boot mounted tie down points, roof mounted utility rails, interior drain plugs, and an optional raised air intake, Grenadier is designed with approach and departure angles that are optimised for off-road usage. These features plus many other options allow you to equip the Grenadier to handle whatever you can throw at it, creating your ultimate tailor made adventure machine.
Ineos are not ones to take testing processes lightly. 130 test vehicles have been pushed to the limits in 15 different countries such as Sweden, Austria, Grenada, Morocco and right here in Australia. Enduring some of the harshest weather conditions this world has to offer, these vehicles have withstood both extreme heat and extreme cold and snow, and over a total of 1.8 million kilometres have been clocked during this process.
Reliability is key, and power comes via two BMW derived 3 litre six cylinder turbo engines, available in both petrol and diesel variations. Both Engines are mated to an eight speed automatic gearbox, with differentials and axles from Italian tractor maker Carraro, and overall engineering expertise from Austrian off-road specialist, Magna Steyr. All these elements culminate into one tough utilitarian vehicle, honed in on the 4 wheel driving purist. We dare you to find it’s limits!
